Customer access for phone repair shops

    Take Phone Repair Bookings
    — Even Without a Website

Give customers a place to book a phone repair and check its progress, even if your shop runs through a counter, calls or social media. Share your shop's RepairHub booking link when you want online bookings. Keep taking walk-ins as usual.

    01 / IN PRACTICE

    Share a booking link.

Your shop has its own customer-facing page. Let customers choose from the devices, repairs, intake methods and booking times you have enabled. Online booking is optional.

    02 / IN PRACTICE

    Keep customers informed.

Customers can open their secure booking link to view the recorded repair status and details. If they need a new link, the lookup page asks for their reference and booking email.

    03 / IN PRACTICE

    Start without a site project.

Use the link alongside WhatsApp, social profiles or a printed QR code. You do not need to design and host a separate website before offering these customer journeys.

    A practical working day

From your shop settings to your customer's phone.

A useful starting point for an independent phone repair shop, a kiosk or a mobile repair business already taking enquiries by phone and message.

    STEP 01

    Set up what you offer.

Review your shop details, device and repair catalogue, prices, intake methods and booking availability. Enable online payment only after the relevant shop/provider setup is ready.

    STEP 02

    Preview, then share.

In Settings, find Your Shareable Links. Open and check your Booking Page, then copy its link or download its QR code. Share it in customer messages, your social bio or printed counter material.

    STEP 03

Use the right link after intake.

For repair progress, direct customers to Booking Status or their individual secure booking link. The public lookup page and a private link to a particular repair serve different purposes.

Walk-ins remain a normal way to take in work. Online booking and postal/mail-in are optional. Only enabled online methods appear; a single method is preselected, while multiple methods give customers a choice.

See how these customer journeys connect to the whole shop in our phone repair shop software overview.

    After the device arrives

    A clear repair update.
    A private customer link.

Give customers a place to check the status you have recorded, without exposing the staff workspace.

    Find the right repair.

The Booking Status page asks for a reference and email. If they match a booking, the customer receives a secure viewing link at that email address.

    See the customer-facing progress.

The repair page brings together the recorded status, device and repair details, and relevant balance or collection information. Staff keep internal Workshop stages separate.

Customers should contact the shop when they need more detail. Status access can help with routine enquiries; it does not guarantee fewer calls or a completion time.

    A practical starting point

Customer access now. Your website when it suits you.

RepairHub provides focused booking and repair-status pages. It does not replace every function of a full website: your wider service pages, local-search content, brand story and other enquiry journeys still have a place.

Share the public page. Keep each repair link private.

    • Send the public booking link in WhatsApp or SMS conversations, or add it to a social profile where links are supported. This is link sharing, not an automated messaging integration.
    • Print the booking or Booking Status QR code for your counter, business card or receipt. Do not publish an individual customer's secure viewing link.
    • If your Google Business Profile offers a suitable booking or website link field, add the public shop link there. Availability depends on the profile; RepairHub does not promise a Google booking integration.
    • Already have a website? Link to your RepairHub booking page, or use the supplied embed code where your site supports it. Preview the customer experience before sharing it.

    Before you start

    Practical questions.
    Clear answers.

Can my phone repair shop take online bookings without its own website?

Yes. Set up your shop in RepairHub and share its hosted Booking Page link from Settings. Customers can use the booking options you enable without you first building a separate website. You still need to configure your repairs, prices and availability.

Do I have to stop taking walk-ins or become appointment-only?

No. Walk-ins are normal, and your team can record them through the internal Walk-in workflow. Online booking is optional. Appointment-only attendance is an individual shop's business policy, not a requirement of RepairHub.

How does a customer check a repair's status?

The customer opens their secure booking link. If they need another link, they enter the booking reference and matching email address on your shop's Booking Status page. A matching request sends a secure link to that booking email; the reference alone does not reveal repair details.

Can a customer who walked in also view their repair online?

The status journey follows the recorded booking, rather than requiring an online appointment. For a walk-in recorded by your team, retain the customer's correct email and booking reference so they can request their secure viewing link. Contact the shop if the email on the record needs correcting.

Will customers see every internal Workshop stage?

No. The customer page presents the recorded customer-facing repair status. Internal Workshop stages and customer status are separate. This is not a promise of a completion time, automatic email at every internal move or a live feed of everything your technicians do.

Can I offer postal repairs or take payment online?

Postal/mail-in and online booking are optional, and the flow follows your enabled intake methods. Online payments depend on your shop's payment setup. RepairHub does not add a platform transaction fee; separate third-party payment-provider processing fees apply.

Does this replace a full repair-shop website?

No. These are focused customer booking and status journeys. A full website can still provide detailed service pages, local-search content, your shop's story and other contact options. You can link to RepairHub from that site later.

What does it cost to get started?

RepairHub offers a 30-day free trial, followed by a monthly subscription. See the current plans and limits before choosing your subscription. Payment-provider processing fees remain separate.
